Ally Hoomaian, an outside hitter for the 18 Onitsuka Team, has committed to Northwood University for the fall of 2010. Northwood is a division II program located in Midland, Michigan that competes in the ever so strong GLIAC conference. Hoomaian competed for Novi High School in the fall seasons and plans to major in Business at Northwood.
Director’s Comments:
"Ally has been in the Premier/M-Juniors program for a few years now and I have always enjoyed coaching her any opportunity that I got. Her work ethic is extremely strong and her desire to be good at volleyball is there every day that she comes to the gym. I especially like that fact that I get to coach her this year, her final year of club, as she is a very mature young lady and she brings a lot of stability to the court when our team plays. It is very nice to see Ally stay close to home and compete for Northwood and I am sure they will enjoy her as much as we have. I want to personally thank her family for their commitment to our club and to our training program and for all of the support over the years. Congratulations to the Hoomaian family on their scholarship to Northwood!"
