Paige DeVriendt, an opposite hitter on the 18-Antare team, has committed to playing volleyball for Marietta College for this coming 2010 fall season. Marietta is a division III program, located in Marietta, Ohio and competes in the OAC. Paige competed for Bowling Green High School in the fall seasons.
Director's Comments: "Paige is one of the players in our club that has been unlucky enough to have had the injury bug a few times in her career with us, including this year. Paige certainly has the ability to play volleyball at a solid level and I think once she is fully recovered and back in action full speed, that we will see a really aggressive player on the court. Paige is the example of working her way up in the club for sure. She started on a state team and is finishing her career at Premier on an 18 National team, which really shows tremendous progress over the last few years. I think that Paige definitely chose the right school for both academics and volleyball and I can’t wait to see her this coming fall in a college jersey. Congrats to the DeVriendt family!"
