Brooke Zywick, a libero for the 18-Antare team, is the first of the 2011 class to commit and she has chosen Marist College for the fall of 2011. Marist is a division I program, located in Poughkeepsie, New York, that competes in the MAAC. Brooke, an all-conference and all-district player competes for John Glenn High School in the fall seasons. Brooke plans to major in Pre-Law at Marist.
Director's Comments: "Brooke is by far one of the most improved players in our gym over the last year. Her passing skills have become solid for her age group and she definitely possesses the drive and personality to become an elite level player in passing and defense. Brooke had a goal to play at a division I program and she has obviously met that goal at a school where she can concentrate on both Pre-Law studies and be a part of a solid volleyball program. I really enjoy having Brooke in our gym and being a part of her growth in this sport. She is the type of player that has a strong career ahead of her in the defensive role at both Premier and Marist and I am confident that she won’t let us down anytime soon. Congratulations to the Zywick family on their scholarship to Marist!"
