Premier Academy Leaders Honored with the 2025 JVA Junior Club Service Award

Premier Academy is proud to celebrate two extraordinary leaders — Owner & Director, Jodi Schramm, and Business Manager, Stephanie Harms — who have been named recipients of the 2025 JVA Junior Club Service Award. This national honor recognizes individuals who have dedicated 20 or more years to shaping and elevating junior volleyball, and this year’s class includes 35 honorees from across the country.

The JVA describes these award recipients as “THE BACKBONE OF JUNIOR VOLLEYBALL.” Their decades of service, leadership, and unwavering belief in the power of this sport have impacted thousands of athletes and families nationwide. JVA Executive Director Lisa Wielebnicki shared, “THEIR DECADES OF COMMITMENT… CONTINUE TO MOVE THE GAME FORWARD. WE ARE PROUD TO CELEBRATE THEIR LEGACY AND GRATEFUL FOR THE FOUNDATION THEY’VE BUILT FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR SPORT.”

For Premier Academy, this recognition is more than an award — it is a testament to the heart, vision, and daily leadership that have shaped our club for over three decades.

Honoring Stephanie Harms — 22 Years of Unmatched Excellence and Heart

For 22 years, Stephanie Harms has been the quiet, steady heartbeat of Premier Academy. While her title is Business Manager, her role spans far beyond logistics and operations. Stephanie is the foundation on which Premier’s trusted, family-centered culture is built.

Her JVA bio captures this perfectly:“STEPHANIE IS THE CONSTANT, CONFIDENT HEARTBEAT OF PREMIER ACADEMY… HER UNWAVERING COMMITMENT, GENUINE LEADERSHIP, AND SIGNATURE PRECISION HAVEN’T JUST SHAPED OUR OPERATIONS — THEY’VE DEFINED THE WARM CULTURE THAT MAKES PREMIER A TRUE HOME FOR ATHLETES ACROSS THE MIDWEST.”

From managing communication for 35+ club teams to overseeing tournaments, registrations, and daily operations, Stephanie ensures every piece of our organization functions seamlessly. But her greatest contributions are found in her character — her compassion, humility, steadiness, and her ability to make every athlete, parent, and staff member feel supported.

Premier Academy simply does not operate without her. Her influence has guided thousands of athletes through their journeys, helping them find not only their confidence on the court, but their community within Premier.

Honoring Jodi Schramm — 31 Years of Vision, Leadership, and Lasting Impact

With 31 years of service, Jodi Schramm has been a driving force in junior volleyball both regionally and nationally. As a founding member of the JVA and the architect behind the Premier Academy legacy, she has transformed countless athletes, families, and coaches through her leadership, passion, and relentless pursuit of excellence.

The JVA notes, “JODI IS THE EPITOME OF JUNIORS VOLLEYBALL IN THE REGION AND NATIONALLY… SHE HAS MADE A LASTING IMPACT ON THOUSANDS OF FAMILIES, ATHLETES, COACHES, AND HER IMPRINT ON THE GAME IS EXTENSIVE.”

Jodi’s influence runs far deeper than wins or championships. She built Premier Academy into a place where athletes grow not just as competitors, but as people. Her vision established one of the most respected developmental pipelines in the country — a program that consistently produces high-level athletes, elite coaches, and a culture grounded in integrity, improvement, and opportunity.

The 2025 JVA Junior Club Service Award is a fitting acknowledgment of a lifetime spent elevating the game and the people within it.

A Legacy Worth Celebrating

Both Jodi and Stephanie will be honored during the JVA Annual Meeting on Friday, December 19, 2025, in Kansas City, MO, held in conjunction with the AVCA Convention. As part of the award, recipients receive recognition from 431 Sports, the Official Uniform & Apparel Provider of JVA, along with a commemorative gift.

For our Premier family, their impact cannot be measured in certificates or gift cards — it is reflected in the generations of athletes whose lives they’ve shaped, the coaches they’ve developed, the families they’ve supported, and the standard of excellence they’ve built year after year.

Premier Academy is what it is today because of Jodi Schramm and Stephanie Harms.Their dedication, leadership, and devotion to junior volleyball have created a legacy that will continue to shape athletes for decades to come.
